Hi, I'm Abdulrahman Alduraibi

I'd rather build it than read about it.

I learn by building

I'm an engineer, and mostly a self-taught one. Almost everything I know how to do, I picked up because I needed it for something I was building.

I work end to end — architecture, hardware, firmware, vision models, and the integration work that decides whether any of it survives outside the lab. That last part is what I actually care about. A model that runs on a laptop and a system that holds up in the field are two different problems, and the second one is the one I find interesting.

Most of my work now sits where defense technology, computer vision, and embedded systems meet, but I got here through healthcare — my first project came out of a problem I watched people live with, not a technology I wanted an excuse to use. That's still how I choose what to work on.

Long term, I want to help build Saudi Arabia's sovereign defense technology base. Short term, I want to build things that work.
